PAC/PR Golf

The Annual Leadership Division PAC/PR Golf Tournaments are a great way to network with other community bankers and benefit a great cause.  Each year, the Leadership Division of the CBA of Georgia holds two tournaments -- one in North Georgia and one in South Georgia -- which allow bankers and associate members to network and play golf on some of the best golf courses in Georgia, while raising money for their legislative efforts at the same time.  Proceeds from both events go to the CBA Political Action Committee (PAC) and Public Relations (PR) funds.  The funds provide Georgia's community banking industry a voice in state politics.  CBA maintains the only state PAC working exclusively for community banks.

NORTH PAC/PR GOLF TOURNAMENT A HUGE SUCCESS!

The 19th Annual North PAC/PR Golf Tournament was held on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at the BridgeMill Athletic Club in Canton.  Over 58 community bankers, associate members and guests participated in a challenging round of golf on one of the best courses in Georgia, while raising money for a valuable cause -- the CBA PAC/PR fund.  Many participants enjoyed the beautiful weather and formidable pin placements during the tournament, as well as the peer networking afterwards.  We would like to thank all of the participants, sponsors and door prize contributors who made this event a huge success!

SOUTH PAC/PR GOLF TOURNAMENT

The 20th Annual Leadership Division South PAC/PR Golf Tournament is a great way to network with other community bankers and benefit a great cause!  Proceeds go to the CBA Political Action Committee (PAC) and Public Relations (PR) funds.  The funds provide Georgia's community banking industry a voice in state politics.  CBA maintains the only state PAC working exclusively for community banks.

This year's golf tournament will be held at the historic Idle Hour Country Club in Macon, Georgia.  Idle Hour features 18 holes of championship golf with 3 sets of tees for players of all abilities. The 6700 yard challenging course hosted the Georgia State Amatuer Tournament a record 7 times, as well as the annual Peach Blossom Invitational. So, plan to vote first thing on November 4th, then head to Macon for this outstanding and competitive event!
