
On Friday, December 13th, CBA moved into our new home. The move was a huge sucess and CBA is fully operational. Our new address is 1640 Powers Ferry Road SE, Building 28, Suite 100, Marietta, GA 30067-1425. Please be sure to update your records.
We would like to thank David Lance and his team at Greater Community Bank, Rome, for providing the CBA staff with lunch during the move. It was greatly needed and much appreciated!

- Congratulations to Ben Morris, SVP of Planters First Bank, Cordele, who recently announced his retirement after 48 years in banking. Read more.
- Scott Curry, President and CEO of First State Bank of Randolph County, recently presented a donation to Andrew College President, Linda R. Buchanan, in honor of his father, Charlie Curry. Charlie served as Chairman and President of the bank until his passing in 2018. He served an active role in his local community and the community banking industry, including serving as Chairman of the CBA of Georgia from 2013-2014.
- Employees from Cadence Bank, Atlanta, recently volunteered at the Junior Achievement Discovery Center in downtown Atlanta, where they guided seventh graders from Stone Mountain Middle School through a budgeting simulation aimed at equipping the next generation with real-life financial acumen.
- South Georgia Banking Company, Tifton, has recently sponsored a scholarship for Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC) student Kasey Kight as part of the bank's annual sponsorship of “An Evening for ABAC.” Pictured (l-r): Kasey Kight, ABAC student; Glenn Willis, President of the bank; and Maghan Campbell, Director of Marketing. - Planters First Bank, Cordele, recently contributed funds to purchase 10 bicycles for the Crisp County Sheriff’s Office Youth Initiative Bicycle Fund.
- United National Bank, Cairo, recently received the 2019 Spirit Award at the Cairo Christmas Parade.
- United Community Bank, Blairsville, has announced that Jennifer Mann and Cathy Cox, both members of the bank's Board of Directors, were named to WomenInc. Magazine’s 2019 list of Most Influential Corporate Directors, published earlier this month. Read more.
