CBA’s Nominating Committee, chaired by Ron Quinn, President & CEO, Peach State Bank, Gainesville, has announced the proposed Board of Directors for the 2021/2022 year. The vote will be held during the business session at CBA’s 53rd Annual Convention & Mini-Trade Show, June 2-6, 2021.

“As the President/CEO of the Community Bankers Association of Georgia, I am grateful for the commitment of these highly experienced and respected bankers for their commitment to CBA of Georgia,” said John McNair. “Leadership bankers are special people. They give of their time and talents for the betterment of the community banking industry in Georgia. The last several years of ushered in many changes at CBA and I am excited for the changes this year’s Board will direct.”

- Planters First Bank treated the teachers and faculty of the Pulaski County School System to donuts & treats for breakfast. The bank also took treats to the staff at Hawkinsville High School in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week.
- Oconee State Bank, Watkinsville: As a special way to round out our Community Banking Month celebrations and in an effort to engage with our fellow local businesses, Team OSB partnered with Elizabeth Ann Florist to deliver beautiful spring arrangements in our commemorative 60th Anniversary mugs to our business neighbors on Main Street.
