The CBA of Georgia #SwagginWagon rolled into Milledgeville, last week for the third of four Town Hall Talk events. The grassroots advocacy event included legislators, several local community banks, and small business owners. Special thanks to Reps. Clint Crowe, Dale Washburn, Rick Williams, and Robert Pruitt for their participation. It is always great to partner with our friends, the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), Hunter Loggins, and Nathan Humphrey. We are grateful to Roberts Propane Gas for hosting and our great friends at Exchange Bank for their support by providing tables and chairs, setting up, and more. CBA’s Lori Godfrey facilitated the day and did an excellent job. Thank you to our sponsors for Town Hall Talks--Fitech, ICBA, IntraFi, James Bates Brannan Groover LLP, and SHAZAM.
The last Town Hall Talk will be held today at Oconee State Bank in Watkinsville.

General Session Panel: Strategies to Support Small Business & Community
Banking—Ask the Banker. Ask the Small Business Owner
The role community banks play in supporting small businesses was never more apparent than during the pandemic when Georgia’s community bankers rose to the occasion to assist businesses in their communities, which resulted in saving thousands of jobs.
Moderated by Dan Speight, Pinehurst Capital Group, hear strategies from a panel of bankers which include Chris Cochran, Affinity Bank; Heath Fountain, Colony Bank; and Eli Tinsley, Planters First Bank, as well as business owner Stephanie Stuckey, Stuckey’s Corporation.
