HB 185 was introduced by Rep. Bruce Williamson (R), Monroe. This is the Department’s annual housekeeping bill. In regards to banks, language changed is truly clean up in nature. Many of the changes tie back to changes in the bank’s legal lending limit and the definition of statutory capital base that were made in years past. CBA supports this bill and will continue to monitor activity as the bill progresses.
