Position Title
Loan Officer

Duties:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to generate consumer and commercial
    loans.
  • Underwrite loans and assess collateral to ensure sound lending decisions.
  • Review loan documentation, including documents prepared by legal professionals.
  • Facilitate loan closings in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Prepare and submit various reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual
    basis as required by management.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in the preparation of reports, including overdraft
    reports, maintenance reports, past due loan reports, and strategic plans.
  • Provide expert advisement on banking-related matters and assist with any other duties
    that arise during the course of the day.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in lending, community development, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make sound lending decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and community stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements
