We collect information about you when you join CBA of Georgia, create a guest account on our website, register for an event, or otherwise input information about yourself in your use of the website. The specific information collected can be found via the join/renewal form, event registration form, etc. This information is collected transparently and voluntarily. Website usage information is collected using cookies (defined below), however this data is not personally identifiable.

How Will We Use This Information?
Your personal, contact, and other information is collected so that CBA OF GEORGIA may:

1) provide members, prospective members, and attendees with goods and services, including membership services, educational content, events, and the like;
2) communicate with you about your membership, our events, other association news and business, and/or communicate with you with promotional material from our sponsors;
3) analyze membership composition and trends;
4) tailor member and event services based upon known information about our members;
5) include your contact information in the member directory;
6) contact you regarding opportunities for volunteer service with the association (your information may be shared with volunteers such as the Executive Board and Nominations and Elections Committee).

We occasionally sell or provide names and mailing addresses to relevant third parties, such as providing a member or conference attendee mailing list to our preferred partners. Explicit permission to do so is requested via the member join and renew form. Additionally, we may share personal information with third parties who are facilitating the delivery of CBA of Georgia services.

CBA of Georgia will send you information about association news, registration, etc. By creating an account on the CBA of Georgia website, you consent to receiving emailed communications from us. You may opt out from marketing materials using the “Safe Unsubscribe” link on all emails we send or by sending your request to cba@cbaofga.com, though you will subsequently not receive any CBA of Georgia news or information (including registration notices for any professional development education programs or annual convention). Where Is My Information Stored?
Information related to your member or guest account with CBA of Georgia is maintained in your user profile. This personal information is stored in one or more software platforms hosted by third parties. E-Mail Privacy and Member Contact Information

CBA communicates with its membership primarily through emails. Members can always opt out of receiving e-mails or restrict the category of e-mails they receive. The CBA membership directory is available to members and elected officials. However, such lists do not include e-mail addresses. We do, however, provide e-mail lists to our third-party webinar provider for purposes of marketing our community bank webinars only. We may provide personally identifiable or other information in response to a lawful request from a law enforcement or government agency.

The CBA website may contain links to other websites. CBA is not responsible for the privacy practices of outside websites. The CBA also will not guarantee the accuracy of links in the event an outside website changes its links or moves its website.

When registering to use a “Members Only” feature, it is solely your responsibility to keep your account information, such as username and password, secure. CBA will never ask you for your password in an unsolicited phone call or e-mail. If you lose or forget your username or password, you can request the information using the “forgot password” feature on the logo screen or by calling CBA at (770) 541-4490.

Registration and Order Forms

Registrations and order forms on this site operate in a secure environment. Users provide contact information (i.e. email address, phone number, etc.) and/or financial information (i.e. credit card numbers). Customer information is sued to process registrations/dues, bill credit cards, and/or CBA invoices and to contact the customer when necessary.

Security

We employ reasonable security measures to protect sensitive information, including personally identifiable information, in our possession. However, no electronically stored information is completely secure.
