CBA's Communications & Member Relations Department is your beacon in this uncertain economy by providing timely alerts, updates, as well as publish the CBA Today newsletter, the Education Catalog and other press releases. This department is also in charge of coordianting several important programs throughout the year.
Community Banking Month is a program coordinated by the Communications department to help notify our members, state and local media, and citizens of Georgia of this once-a-year celebration. Our member banks in the state of Georgia will do our utmost to educate and inform the citizens of Georgia and the United States about the important social and economic roles community banks and community bankers play in our communities. The Julian & Jan Hester Memorial Scholarship is open to all Georgia high school students planning on attending a Georgia university, college or technical institute (two year or more program). The goal of this scholarship is to assist deserving high school seniors in their first year of college and to promote community banking. For more information on the scholarship, please click here.
