Summary:
The Human Resources Officer (HRO) is responsible for providing leadership in developing and executing HR strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the Bank. Specifically, succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and HRIS.
Job Specifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required
• 5 years of relevant executive leadership experience is required
Essential Functions and Basic Duties:
• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the Bank’s growth strategy
• Provide strategic and operational HR support to the executive and management teams
• Ensure that the Bank’s people practices are executed within ethical and legal guidelines
• Create policies and programs that reinforce the desired workplace culture and core values
• Improve the talent acquisition strategy to attract and retain high quality candidates
• Develop and implement a comprehensive onboarding program
• Create a talent development program for growth and succession planning
• Partner with leadership to enhance and build an effective performance management system
• Foster employee engagement and enable action planning to enhance performance and retention
• Develop and implement employee recognition and wellness programs
• Create job descriptions, promotion criteria, and salary bands consistent with market research
• Manage the administration of payroll, compensation, and benefits
