Event Disclaimers

Thank you for choosing CBA programming.  To support the association’s sound business practices, we have the following policies in place.

Note: Please note we reserve the right to change speakers, event dates and locations or reschedule/cancel seminars when necessary.


REGISTRATION BEST PRACTICES:

PAYMENT:

  • Payment is due at registration—no invoices will be issued. This ensures better event management and resource allocation. 

CONFIRMATIONS:

  • Automated confirmations are sent upon registration; detailed instructions follow one week before the program. If not received, check your junk folder or contact education@cbaofga.com. 
  • Your event registrations and history are available under the "My Events" section via your Member Compass. 

 CANCELLATION POLICIES:

  • Written cancellations received: 
    • 30+ days prior: 100% credit / refund.
    • 15–29 days prior: 50% credit / refund.
    • Less than 15 days: No refunds allowed.
  • Employee substitutions are allowed at anytime. 

CONTINUING EDUCATION &  CERTIFICATION CREDITS:

  • For multi-session certification programs (i.e. CBLA), each registrant must attend all sessions in a calendar year to receive certification. Due to the nature of the certification process, no attendee substitutions are allowed.
  • For classes offering CEU's, a downloadable certificate will be available via your Member Compass upon completion of your program. 

  • Attendees are responsible for maintaining records of their participation and submitting any required documentation to their respective accrediting bodies. CBA of Georgia does not submit CEU credits on behalf of attendees.

VIRTUAL PROGRAMS:
One paid registration permits one participant and access to program resources. Additional participants require separate registrations. Thank you for adhering to these policies to help us deliver exceptional experiences. 

CONSENT TO USE PHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGES:
By registering for or attending CBA events, participants agree to allow CBA to use their image or voice in event-related media, including photographs, videos, and audio recordings. 

SUITCASING:
Suitcasing is the act of soliciting business during the exhibit networking times or in other public spaces by non-exhibiting companies, including another company's booth or a convention center/hotel lobby. CBA prohibits suitcasing to protect our exhibitors and community banker attendees.

CBA welcomes speaker proposals from individuals with expertise in topics relevant and valuable to our members.
