Fighting for Community Bankers at the State Capitol

The Community Bankers Association of Georgia is the established voice of community banking at the State Capitol. Our presence under the Gold Dome ensures that community banks are a priority in state policy making and not an afterthought. We work directly with legislators and regulators to shape laws and regulations that recognize the unique role community banks play in Georgia’s economy and the communities they serve.

When policy threatens relationship banking, CBA of Georgia is there early, informed, and effective. We protect community banks from harmful legislation, push back against regulatory overreach, and advocate for smart, balanced policy that allows local banks to compete and thrive. Our influence is built on credibility, consistency, and results; delivering strong representation for Georgia’s community banks where it matters most.

Strengthening this mission, CBA has engaged Fiveash-Stanley as its Government Relations partner. With decades of experience and trusted relationships at the State Capitol, Fiveash-Stanley enhances CBA’s advocacy and grassroots outreach efforts and taking community bank representation to the next level. Together, this partnership ensures Georgia’s community banks have a powerful, unified voice where it matters most.

Stand with us!  Advocacy is not an option but essential! When community banks stand together through CBA of Georgia, we stand stronger!
