Farm to table was the focus for Georgia First Bank’s Youth Leadership last week. Thank you to our community partners for giving our students a firsthand look at agriculture at work in our community. Thank you to Terra Dolce Farms, Hopkins Farms and Ohoopee Angus for taking time out to educate our youth.

Team members of The Citizens Bank of Cochran & Community Bank of Dublin-Laurens County, Dublin, known as the “Red Hot Chili Bankers,” participated in the Dublin Chili Cook Off and Fall Festival

 

The Hawkinsville team at Planters First Bank was invited to speak to the students at the Pulaski County Achievement Center recently. The bankers discussed topics such as credit scores for teenagers, checking and savings accounts, writing checks, and money management - save, spend and share.

Representatives from Georgia Banking Company, Atlanta, recently volunteered at Junior Achievement’s Finance Park, sharing their financial knowledge with seventh and eighth grade students. Read about their takeaways and experience in their blog.
