Train the Trainer I
Community Bank Training

Community Bank Training is a must!  Who in your bank leads the training to support functional job responsibilities, compliance and policy requirements and provides talent management? This roundtable style program allows bankers to focus on teaching methods, tools, skills, and resources to ensure results-oriented training for community banks.

CBA’s Train the Trainer program is a comprehensive forum for all community bank trainers.  These sessions will give attendees the ability to develop new and enhance existing training programs in their bank.   Join us as we work together to ensure Community Bankers are the best trained and most knowledgeable in the industry.  We will build a network to share information and support each other all year.

INSTRUCTOR:

Kristi Greer, Senior Vice President of Professional Development
Community Bankers Association of Georgia

Learning Goals include:

  • develop an annual training plan as well as respond to the ever-changing regulatory environment. A key focus in planning is the behind-the-scenes activities: setting up training plans for key positions, selection of methods and media, the impact of training room arrangement, and much more…
  • use a variety of proven training methods and approaches to make training, including regulatory and compliance training, interactive, energized, “real world”, and enjoyable!
  • train the “adult learner”, ensure the training transfer to the “real world”, refine training and facilitation skills, and getting a return on limited training investment dollars,
  • improve training and facilitation skills, and so much more…

Throughout the program, we will focus on:

  • Roles & Responsibilities of Community Bank Trainers
  • How to Structure a Bank Training Program
  • What makes an effective training program
  • Find valuable training resources and choosing what’s best for your bank and bankers
  • How to Train Bankers: Adult Learning Techniques
  • Effective Training Delivery Methods
