Shannon GaNunShannon GaNun
Shannon GaNun / Keynote and Workshop Speaking

Shannon is a keynote speaker and workshop leader on a mission to empower business professionals to communicate with clarity and confidence so they can become stronger leaders.

Known for her down-to-earth humor and real-world insights, Shannon has 30+ years of experience working with leaders—from companies, private clubs, associations, nonprofits, and Congress—to
deliver clear, compelling messages that get results.

Shannon is also an instructor at Georgia Southern University, teaching public speaking classes to undergraduates and communication and leadership classes to professionals.

Her education includes a Master of Arts in Professional Communication and Leadership from Armstrong State University (now Georgia Southern University) and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism
and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

When she’s not keeping her mind in peak condition via her communication and leadership training, Shannon tries to keep her body in peak condition through running, weightlifting, and teaching yoga, Pilates, and group fitness classes.

Along with her husband Ed (a pilot and a retired Naval Officer and Aviator), Shannon has three grown children: Natalie, Jacqueline, and James. She is also active in her parish, St. Anne Catholic Church.

Steve Hopkins heads the leadership consulting team, as part of Wipfli’s Organizational Performance group, focused on helping clients develop their people, their culture and, ultimately, their organizations. For the past decade, Steve has led and championed leadership development and executive coaching programs through his consulting work, building on a career as a leader of people. Previous to that, Steve ran an international sales team for a manufacturing company that took him around the world; he served as the business unit manager for ACS (now Xerox); and he taught English and comp at the University of Kentucky.

Kristopher Stevens brings more than 17 years of experience advising large employers on institutional legal risk, compliance, and complex workplace matters. A servant leader by nature, he has built a diverse background in leadership development and employment law, including handling harassment, discrimination, and workplace misconduct issues.

Before entering private practice, Kris served at the University of Georgia, where he ensured compliance with employment, civil rights, and disability laws. He conducted sensitive internal investigations, advised HR professionals, and trained faculty and staff leaders on workplace policies and best practices. Earlier in his career, Kris served as a Judge Advocate General (JAG) officer in the United States Air Force, advising base leadership on administrative law, government contracts, FOIA, and military justice matters, while also providing legal assistance to service members and veterans.

Kristopher is known for resolving complex disputes, delivering engaging presentations, and mentoring others. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his wife and children, watching movies, exercising, listening to podcasts, and pursuing lifelong learning.

CBA Rate: (April 29 - May 1, 2026)

  • starting at $219.00 per room / per night plus $30 resort fee and applicable taxes. Rates are good for one day prior and one day post event. Subject to availability.


Cutoff date: 
We encourage you to book your room prior to March 30, 2026. After March 30, rooms will be released, and CBA cannot guarantee the group rate or availability after that date.

Check-In and Check-Out Time: 
Check-In at the hotel is 4:00 pm and check-out is at 11:00 am.

Reservation Cancellations:
All rooms are subject to Courtyard by Marriott’s hotel cancellation policy. Cancellations prior to 3 days before arrival at no charge.  An early departure or no-show fee of one night room rate and tax will apply if a group attendee checks out prior to the confirmed checkout date and / or is a no show for their reservation.
