Fundamentals of Business Cash Flow Series

Part 2 of 3

All lenders must have a solid understanding of how to evaluate business cash flow, as cash flow from business operations is the primary source of repayment for most commercial loans and many consumer loans.  Fundamentals of Business Cash Flow provides bankers with the necessary skills to analyze a business’ ability to meet the cash requirements of its current and future business operations and to service its debt and capital needs.

This three-session virtual series will prepare bankers to thoroughly analyze cash flow from tax returns and business financial statements.  Bankers will learn to calculate traditional debt service coverage, global debt service coverage, and UCA debt service coverage and to forecast how management decisions and changing internal and external conditions impact repayment ability.

Although this series is taught virtually, the instructor’s facilitation approach encourages frequent participant engagement.  The program includes examples, practice problems, and case studies, which allow participants to apply cash flow analysis principles to real-world loan scenarios.

Participants may choose to enroll in the entire three-session series, or they may choose to enroll in individual sessions which meet their unique development needs.

Benefits of the Series:

  • Prepare for a new role in lending.
  • Update or refresh your cash flow analysis skills.
