A Great Day at Cherokee Rose for the Charlie Curry Memorial Clay Shoot
Bankers and associate members came together at Cherokee Rose in Griffin last week to honor a dedicated banker and raise funds for CBA’s advocacy efforts.
The tournament is named after former CBA Chair, Charlie Curry of First State Bank of Randolph County, Cuthbert, who passed away in 2018. Charlie was an avid sportsman and often attended and supported CBA’s Advocacy Fundraising Clay Shoots.
Participants enjoyed a beautiful day filled with friendly competition, fellowship, and community spirit.
“It was a wonderful day at a beautiful venue, and it’s especially meaningful to see so many bankers and partners come together to support community banking,” said Lori Godfrey, COO/Government & Regulatory Relations at CBA. “The funds raised ensure we can continue advocating for Georgia’s community banks and protecting the future of our industry.”
