Colony Bank’s Heath Fountain Represents Community Banking at Governor’s Workforce Summit

CBA Board Member and Colony Bank President & CEO Heath Fountain participated in the CEO Roundtable at the Governor’s Workforce Summit, held in October at the Georgia Freight Depot. Hosted by Governor Brian Kemp, the Summit brought together leaders from across business, education, and government to address workforce challenges and opportunities in Georgia.

Heath joined other top executives for a dynamic roundtable discussion with Governor Kemp focused on strengthening Georgia’s workforce pipeline, aligning education with industry needs, and supporting continued economic growth throughout the state.

As the leader of a Georgia-based community bank with deep roots across the state, Fountain brought the perspective of community banking to the discussion—highlighting how local banks play a key role in supporting small businesses, job creation, and community development.
