CBA Today eNewsletter,

CBA of Georgia, in partnership with the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), concluded the final stop in our 2025 Town Hall Talk series last week at Fresh Air BBQ in Macon. This important grassroots initiative brought together community bankers, small business owners, and local legislators for candid conversations on the issues that matter most.

We extend our sincere thanks to our sponsors—IntraFi, ICBA, Integris, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta—for making this event possible. A special thank you to Sen. John Kennedy, Sen. Rick Williams, Rep. Dale Washburn, Rep. Shaw Blackmon, and Rep. Regina Lewis-Ward for taking time to engage with our attendees.

As part of the program, NFIB presented its prestigious Guardian of Small Business Award to Sen. John Kennedy in recognition of his strong support for Georgia’s small businesses and community banks.

“CBA is pleased to have hosted this year’s Town Hall Talks across Georgia,” said Lori Godfrey, COO, Government and Regulatory Relations at CBA. “These events provided an important opportunity to hear directly from our bankers and small business owners, and to ensure their voices were heard by those shaping policy. We were especially honored to be a part the recognition for Sen. Kennedy, a true champion for community banks and small businesses.”

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the success of the 2025 Town Hall Talk series.
