Georgia's Digital License and ID in Action: A Partnership Approach

The Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS) invites you to join us as we look at the future of the Georgia Digital License and ID also known as mobile driver’s license (mDL). 

Digital licenses and IDs are revolutionizing identity management and verification across the country.  More than half a million Georgians have already downloaded their digital License and ID and that number continues to grow as law enforcement and major venues expand their acceptance. 

Now is the time to ensure your clients, members, and customers are prepared for a future where checking IDs may mean tapping a phone instead of holding a plastic card.  The digital credential reduces risk and fraud, increases confidence, and streamlines customers interactions.  It also offers real time, up-to-date, and reliable information about the license/ID holder.  The educational event will be Monday, November 17, 2025 from 10 am – 12 pm.  Learn more and register.
