Grassroots in Action: Town Hall Talks Unites Bankers, Lawmakers & Small Businesses in Tifton

CBA Today eNewsletter,

CBA and the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) hosted a successful Town Hall Talks last week at South Georgia Banking Company in Tifton. The event brought together community bankers, small business owners, and legislators for a productive discussion on key issues impacting Main Street.

Special thanks to Rep. Chas Cannon, Rep. Bill Yearta, and Rep. Jaclyn Ford for joining the legislative panel and sharing insights on taxes, regulations, and legislative priorities.

“This is what grassroots advocacy looks like - bringing together the people who live and work in these communities with the leaders who shape policy,” said Lori Godfrey, COO, Government and Regulatory Relations at CBA. “These conversations are essential to protecting and promoting Georgia’s community banks and small businesses.”
