Touchmark National Bank, Alpharetta, announced several changes to its executive and senior leadership team. Addam Taussig has joined the bank as Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer. Tesula Stewart, Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer, has stepped down to pursue opportunities in consulting and public service. Steve Schaefer, Senior Vice President and Senior Credit Officer, has taken over the leadership of Credit Administration following Stewart’s departure. The SBA Lending team at Signature Bank of Georgia, Sandy Springs, (pictured) was ranked in the top ten of all banks in the State of Georgia at #5 with 7(a) approvals/closings just over $40 million by the Small Business Administration using the year-end numbers as of September 30, 2025. The bank also ranked #1 in 7(a) approvals/closings by a Georgia headquartered bank.

BankSouth, Greensboro, announced the completion of its acquisition of State Bank of Cochran, including its divisions First Laurens Bank and Community Bank of Johnson County. BankSouth reaffirmed its commitment to stability and local decision-making, noting that the existing leadership teams of State Bank of Cochran and its divisions will remain in key roles within the combined organization.
