BankSouth, Greensboro, announced the upcoming retirement of Chief Operating Officer David Cowles after more than 20 years of dedicated service. David, who joined the bank in 2003, will transition to a part-time consulting role following his full-time retirement in May 2025. A retirement reception was held on April 29 at the Rock House at Reynolds Lake Oconee to honor his contributions. |

Brian Dart has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Coastal Regional Manager. At Queensborough National Bank & Trust, Savannah. He will oversee operations across Queensborough’s Coastal Metro branches, including Pooler, Oglethorpe Mall, Statesboro, Garden City, and Rincon. |

Charles Henry (CH) Hobart will be celebrating 40 years at Citizens Community Bank, Valdosta, on May 15th. CBA President/CEO John McNair had the honor of presenting the CBA Lifetime Service Award to him this past week. According to John, “CH has spent his career helping people in his community achieve their financial dreams, and it was an honor to celebrate his impact.”
