Opportunity for Community Bank Employees - J. Steven Walraven Memorial Scholarship

The J. Steven Walraven Memorial Scholarship provides an opportunity for Georgia community bank employees to further their education and invest in their future in community banking.

Each year, Community Bankers Association of Georgia, in partnership with the Walraven family, awards a $500 scholarship to a full or part-time employee of a Georgia community bank who plans to attend a college or university in Georgia. The scholarship is designed to support bankers who are continuing their education to strengthen their knowledge and advance their careers in the community banking industry.

The scholarship honors the legacy of the late J. Steven Walraven, a respected community bank president who devoted his career to serving his community and advancing community banking in Georgia. Through this scholarship, the Walraven family continues Steve’s commitment to helping others grow and succeed in the banking profession.
