Rabun County Bank, Clayton, made a $2,000 donation to F.A.I.T.H., Inc., in honor of the bank’s 50th anniversary. The nonprofit assists families and survivors of domestic abuse.
The team at CBC Bank, Valdosta, had a PINK OUT to recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Guardian Bank, Valdosta taught budgeting basics to fifth graders Valwood School. Students planned the and budgeted the ultimate tailgate party, a fun and practical way to learn about money management.
South Georgia Bank, Glennville, team members wear pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, bringing awareness of the importance of early detection.
SunMark Community Bank, Perry, sponsored the Perry Kiwanis Club 5K which benefited the Kiwanis Club’s mission of helping children through their BUG (Bringing Up Grades) program, which encourages students to reach their academic goals.

Funds raised from SunMark’s September Casual Cause went to Big Brothers Big Sisters Heart of Georgia.
Bobbie Clemons, Planters First Bank, presented to seniors at Hawkinsville High School about check writing, credit scores, fraud, and more. The bank also donated dog and cat food to the Hawkinsville-Pulaski County Animal Control Center.
