SunMark Community Bank, Perry, sponsored the Blessing of the Crops Breakfast in Dublin, hosted by the UGA Cooperative Extension - Laurens County, Farm Bureau and Young Farmers.
Team members from Embassy National Bank, Lawrenceville, along with friends and family, participated in the Suwanee Kiwanis 5K Shamrock Run which supports local youth in the community.
The team from BankSouth, Watkinsville, attended and sponsored the Piedmont Athens Regional Foundation's Champions of Care event where over 325 attendees raised $180,000 benefitting patient programs at Piedmont Athens Regional.
Employees from South Georgia Banking Company, Tifton, spoke on financial literacy to students in Worth County High School Business/Future Business Leaders of America.
Guardian Bank, Valdosta treated the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office to lunch. Bank employees stated they are “Proud to serve those who serve us.”
Exchange Bank, Milledgeville, donated to Ferst Readers Baldwin County, a program where enrolled children receive a brand-new book in the mail every month until their 5th birthday—completely free.
