The Macon banking team at Planters First Bank served breakfast and volunteered at the “Kids in Pink” camp, a special program for children of breast cancer survivors through United in Pink. Planters First Bank also hosted "Summer of Awareness – Protecting Our Elders Together" event at the Irwin County Senior Center, in cooperation with the Ocilla Police Department and Irwin County Sheriff's Office.
The Citizens Bank of Cochran/ Community Bank of Dublin-Laurens County, Dublin, recently awarded the 2025 Chuck Harwell Scholarship to Mika Faircloth, a recent graduate of West Laurens High Schools in Dublin.	Summer interns and team members from Georgia Banking Company, Atlanta, rolled up their sleeves and got their hands dirty volunteering with Trees Atlanta at the Kendeda Treehouse.
BankSouth, Savannah employees attended Union Mission Inc ’s 10th Annual Raising Hope Gala, where they raised critical funds for Union Mission’s programs that serve individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
Carver State Bank, Savannah, welcomes the 2025 Summer Associates. Through the bank’s project-based Summer Associate Program, students gain hands-on experience by tackling real-world issues and opportunities. Special thanks to our partners at Fiserv, Nicole Valentin-Smith, CCE, Neil Wilcox and Leslie Pearce for inviting our team to the Leadership in MDIs conference. Summer associates heard from industry leaders, including the Comptroller of the Currency Rodney E. Hood, Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs’ President Jay Bailey, senior bank executives, and Fiserv leadership.
South Georgia Banking Company, Vienna’s team members visited the Senior Center to share a presentation on common scams and how to prevent fraud.
