SunMark Community Bank supported Habitat for Humanity - Houston County with a donation for the Women’s Build in October. Also, the bank partnered with the Houston County School District to recognize and celebrate the Top 5 Teachers of the Year with a special gift as a small token of our appreciation.
Exchange Bank, Milledgeville, announced a $9,000 pledge in support of The Depot Interpretive Center at Georgia College & State University (GCSU). The first installment of $3,000 was recently made, just ahead of the groundbreaking, which is anticipated within the next month. Read more.
BankSouth, Watkinsville, welcomed Athens Academy Life Essentials campers for a day of banking, budgeting, and behind-the-scenes fun. From meeting our team to a round of banking-themed Jeopardy, these students brought curiosity and energy to every moment.	The Claxton Bank team members Scott Verlander, Kimberly Sole, and Mary-Mac Chown hosted finanancial literacy workshops at Sanctuary on 8th Street with a group of bright middle schoolers at summer camp.
