Planters First Bank, Hawkinsville, sponsored Juneteenth Welcome & Opening event at the historic St. Thomas AME Church. Bobbie Clemons represented the bank and spoke on homeownership, banking tools, fraud prevention, and safeguarding seniors from financial abuse.

BankSouth’s Watkinsville team had a blast volunteering at this year’s Big Ball Fore All, benefitting ESP, whose mission is to help individuals of all abilities thrive through connection, inclusion, and community support.

Exchange Bank, Milledgeville, supported Brave Meadows Therapeutic Riding Center with a donation. Team members Chris Gibson and Barbara Merritt had the opportunity to visit Brave Meadows and see first-hand the horse-assisted therapy.

SunMark Community Bank, Perry, donated to Genesis JOY House Homeless Shelter for its May casual cause initiative. The shelter supports homeless female veterans in the community. The bank also also partnered with the Houston County School District in support of the REACH Georgia Scholarship Program. REACH Georgia is a needs-based mentoring and scholarship initiative designed to provide promising students with the tools, resources, and support they need to graduate high school and succeed in college and beyond.
