Organization Overview
Treascent llc is a treasury management consultancy founded on the belief that strong community banks and credit unions have the power to create lasting, positive change in the communities they serve. Based on over 20 years of commercial banking experience, Treascent was built to help financial institutions turn treasury management into a true growth driver through practical strategy, aligned execution, and stronger internal processes.
Treascent works with community banks nationwide, partnering with leadership, lending, and operations teams to strengthen commercial deposit programs, improve treasury sales effectiveness, and develop high-performing treasury teams. Services include financial institution consulting, customized training, and speaking engagements focused on deposit growth, business relationship development, and operational efficiency.
Founder Laura Wetherell, CTP, MBA, brings credentials in treasury management and change management and also serves as faculty at the Barret School of Banking in Memphis, where she develops and delivers treasury management curriculum.
In addition to core consulting work, Treascent is actively engaged in helping banking leaders navigate the practical application of artificial intelligence. Laura co-develops and delivers workshops designed to help community bank leaders reduce friction in their operations and client workflows through thoughtful AI adoption.
Treascent's mission is straightforward: help community banks compete on relationships, not rates, and build the programs and teams to make that possible.
