Stephen Lewis, CBA Board, Audit-Treasurer:

Stephen Lewis of First National Bank of Coffee County has dedicated 30 years to the banking industry, building lasting relationships and making a meaningful impact on his community. One of his proudest accomplishments includes helping a friend and customer expand their manufacturing business, creating nearly 50 new jobs in the area. His commitment to growth and service extends beyond banking—Stephen is actively involved with the Coffee County Chamber, the Douglas Lions Club, and local Economic Development efforts, and he is a devoted member of Douglas First Methodist Church.

At the heart of Stephen’s work is a passion for helping friends, family, and the community achieve their dreams and goals. He finds fulfillment in seeing others succeed and is known for his genuine care and dedication. Outside of his professional and civic life, Stephen treasures time with his daughter, Harper, a 26-year-old nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah, whose compassion and service reflect the same values he’s carried throughout his career.

Heath Fountain, CBA Board, At Large:

Heath Fountain of Colony Bank has spent 25 years in the banking industry, dedicating his career to strengthening the communities he serves. Through initiatives like the Colony Leadership Academy, a youth leadership program for high school juniors and seniors, Colony Bank has awarded over $100,000 in scholarships to more than a hundred students, empowering the next generation of leaders. Heath is also deeply involved in his community through First Methodist Church, the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, and the Albany Westover Community Improvement District.

Passionate about community banking, Heath finds fulfillment in enabling progress and witnessing the tangible impact his work has on the markets he serves. Helping business owners and individuals achieve their goals is what drives him, and he takes pride in the meaningful relationships and growth that come from serving others.

Heath has been married to his wife, Stephanie, for 19 years. Together, they have two children: their son, Whatley, a 15-year-old sophomore at Deerfield Windsor, and their daughter, Nobie, a 12-year-old sixth grader at the same school. In his free time, Heath enjoys being outdoors—whether on a boat, a tractor, in the woods, or on the water—making the most of every opportunity to unwind and connect with nature.

Michelle Dixon, LEAD Board, 2nd Vice Chair:

Michelle Dixon of Century Bank and Trust is approaching 30 years in the banking industry, where her dedication to both customers and community continues to shine. In today’s fast-changing world of fraud and financial uncertainty, this service allows the bank to issue new debit cards immediately—minimizing disruptions, reducing stress, and restoring peace of mind for customers. For Michelle, being able to help customers in the moment during challenging times is a meaningful way to demonstrate Century Bank’s ongoing commitment to security, satisfaction, and service.

Beyond her professional role, Michelle is deeply engaged in her community as a Rotarian with the Rotary Club of Milledgeville, an organization guided by the motto “Service Above Self.” Through partnerships with groups such as Keep Milledgeville-Baldwin Beautiful and Milly Free Fridge, the club supports initiatives that enhance the quality of life across the community. One of their signature programs, Jill’s Books, donates children’s books to the Mary Vinson Memorial Library, encouraging literacy and lifelong learning among local youth. These efforts reflect Michelle’s strong belief in service, education, and collaboration as cornerstones of community growth.

As a lender, Michelle finds joy in helping customers achieve their dreams—whether it’s purchasing a home, expanding a business, or taking the next big step in life. Her background in operations has also fueled her passion for problem-solving and sharing knowledge to empower both clients and colleagues. While the banking industry has evolved greatly over the past three decades, Michelle believes the heart of banking remains the same: relationships. She values every connection made throughout her career and remains committed to a future built on service, learning, and human connection.

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys good food, meaningful connections, and time spent outdoors. Living near family, she treasures moments with her long-haired dachshund, Deano, and often travels with friends and loved ones to explore national parks. She’s an active member of a local bowling league—more for the laughs than the scores—and plays Bunco with a wonderful group of women. A self-proclaimed foodie, Michelle loves cooking and discovering new restaurants, often alongside her brother and nephew. When it’s time to unwind, she turns to great films and binge-worthy series for a well-earned dose of relaxation.
