Highlights from Shellman Town Hall Talks

CBA Today eNewsletter,

Last week’s Town Hall Talk, held at The Back Porch in Shelman, showcased CBA’s grassroots advocacy efforts.  Led by CBA Chief of Staff and EVP of Gov and Reg Relations, Lori Godfrey, CBA is leading the charge in getting our message out in all parts of Georgia. Special thanks Representative Gerald Greene, District 154, Cuthbert; and Senator Freddie Powell Sims, District 12, Dawson, for their participation. Thank you also to Scott Curry, President & CEO, First State Bank of Randolph County, Cuthbert, for his assistance with the Town Hall Talk.

Town Hall Talks are a multi-location Grassroots alternative to a Day at the Dome for you to meet your legislators in person.  CBA is proud to host these bankers only events where attendees will have the opportunity to engage with legislators in a Q&A session and hear their perspectives on legislative issues that may impact community banks.

Future Town Hall Talks will be held in Waycross on November 8th, and in Vidalia on November 9th.  Thank You to our sponsors:  Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta, ICBA,  IntraFi, and James-Bates-Brannan-Groover LLP.
