Important Email Delivery Notice: Don’t Miss Important CBA Communications

With technology evolving rapidly, criminals are becoming increasingly sophisticated, and businesses must adapt to stay ahead and protect their assets. CBA recognizes the critical importance of cybersecurity, and we are implementing updates to keep pace with the industry’s evolving security practices.
Due to recent changes in industry relating to e-mail security, emails are being marked as fraudulent by our spam filter. The reason for this is the e-mail failing several security checks — specifically SPF, DKIM, and the Anti-Spoofing Policy. The e-mails are passing through e-mail security systems between the time of sending of the e-mail and when it is received. Each system adds their own security marketings, causing the spam filter to believe the e-mail is fraudulent. We have made configuration changes within the spam filter of CBA’s tenant to allow the e-mails to come through without issue, but there are times where we must manually release them. It is recommended that you reach out to your web host or IT provider to review and correct their SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records to prevent this issue from continuing.
CBA’s Chief Operating Officer Lori Godfrey stated, “Protecting data isn’t just about being defensive—it’s about safeguarding the people who rely on us.” If you believe that your emails are being blocked by our filters and aren’t reaching the intended CBA employee, please contact us so we can investigate the issue. We also ask that you coordinate with your IT provider to make any necessary adjustments on your end to ensure our communications continue uninterrupted.
