Peoples Bank & Trust, Buford, was recognized as one of the nation’s Best Community Banks to Work For, as featured in this month’s Independent Banker magazine.

The annual list highlights top employers in the community banking industry, nominated and rated by employees, across five asset classes. Peoples Bank & Trust, a $550 million-asset institution with a single location and 52 employees, stands out for its strong workplace culture and deep local ties.
