With support from the bank’s Board of Directors, First Peoples Bank, Pine Mountain, made donations to local nonprofits, delivered in person by our team across the communities we serve. Organizations include Habitat for Humanity (LaGrange), Feeding the Valley (Columbus), Our Father’s House (Senoia), and Hands of Hope (Henry County).
Queensborough National Bank & Trust Co., Louisville, raised $9,816 for the Georgia Cancer Center at the annual Paceline Ride, bringing the bank’s all-time funds to $75,630.
Jonathan Pope and Julia LittleExchange Bank, Milledgeville, enjoyed spending time at Georgia Military College Prep School helping celebrate Read Across America Week.
Northeast Georgia Bank, Lavonia, made a donation to Stephens Hospital through the Georgia Heart Tax Credit Fund.
First Port City Bank, Bainbridge supported the Alpha Pregnancy Center at their recent dinner event. The organization serves the community by assisting women through their pregnancy journey.
Team members from BankSouth, Greensboro and Lake Oconee spent a morning at the Teen Maze event at Greene County High School. The program gives local teens a hands-on look at real-world decision making, and to connect with community leaders like Sheriff Donnie Harrison.
