Commercial Lender - Pineland Bank
Position Purpose:
This position is accountable for acquiring new business relationships to include attracting and retaining profitable commercial loan and deposit relationships.
Essential Functions and Basic Duties:
• Assist the branch as income center to achieve income and expense targets.
• Participates in community activities to enhance public awareness of the bank and to leave a positive impression.
• Aids in the delivery of quality customer service at the branch through personal contact with customers and prospects.
• Seek new business by developing relationships with individuals and business customers and the community.
• Manage customer relations, including delivery of loan applications, opening of accounts, customer complaints and special requests.
• Monitors the knowledge and skill levels of branch staff to identify development and training needs.
• Lead by example with excellent customer service skills and quality.
• Complies with all bank and personnel policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Education:
• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or Bachelor degree in business or related industry strongly preferred.
Experience/Knowledge:
• Have knowledge of banking industry.
• Understand financial and accounting policies and practices.
• Familiarity with financial related laws and regulations.
• Knowledge of related computer applications.
• Thorough knowledge of bank products and services.
Skills/Abilities:
• Must present a professional image in dealing with customers, interdepartmental and external representatives.
• Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
• Have a high degree of interpersonal skills, attitude, judgment, communication and the ability to effectively interact with customers and employees
• Strong leadership skills.
• Well-developed planning skills.

M - F / 8:00 - 5:00
